If not a museum, I always thought it would be nice to drop our worst Texas criminals inside and let them try to survive. Weekly drops of limited food and supplies, and then broadcast the proceedings. Like real life Game of Thrones (Games of Domes? ).

I want Mayor Turner to gather everyone up in the Dome and announce the end of the Republic and the start of a great Galactic Empire.

Crying is for women, babies, and transvestites. What pronouns should I use for you, Todd? Drop the Mic!

I used to be on the save the Dome bandwagon, but now I've shifted to tearing it down. Hear me out though.
Tear down the Dome now, keep all that space open until then for parking, cooking, etc. When it comes time to build a new stadium, we rebuild the Dome. Design it pretty much exactly like the original, but give it a retractable roof. Use the Astroworld lot for parking running a trolly back and forth like they did.
This is what I would like to see happen.

Turn it into an indoor golf course. Golf courses are why Florida and Arizona get so many Super Bowls

First, send in a strike force team to neutralize the rat population.

First, send in a strike force team to neutralize the rat population. Carl Spackler can do that with a pitchfork and a little C-4

I'd like to see the breakdown of the tear down/ museum vote and opinion based on age. I'd venture the wrecking ball crew faction are youngsters who didn't have memores going back to the '60's of childhood games.
I might be wrong, but that's my guess.

What good are the memories when they couldn’t prevent the place from becoming so neglected? Good question. Ask the so called "civic leadership" in Houston the past 20 years. I don't think there is a city in this country of 1M or more that doesn't have a dumbass running it.

I've got great memories of going to the Astrodome on a Saturday as a kid. The first thing I remember walking in it really did look like a spaceship
The second was the scoreboard. I feel lucky enough to have seen it just a few years before Bud Adams razed it

^^^^ With all the Liberals Weenies in Houston voting in Demon-rats into Mayor and Council this is what you get. Looks all around the country and every Demon-rat run city looks like Beirut or worse. The best One I know is the Meme Showing Nagasaki and Detroit. One a Big Thriving Metropolis and the Other looking like it had the Bomb dropped on it. Guess which one

The Astrodome isn’t the Astrodome without that scoreboard.

I’d like for them to play in the Dome again, which is why I suggest tearing it down and rebuilding it almost brick for brick.
