JD Davis had his doubters but I thought he could some how end up being something given the chance, he always reminded me of a Scott Rolen clone. With no place to play in Houston, just think if they had all this talent to work with in the lean years of the decade. www.mlb.com/news/jd-davis-making-most-of-opportunity-with-mets

His defense has been pretty horrific, but the offense has been quite good.

I never cared much for the Mets, but when they agreed to play a doubleheader on Saturday (unlike the S. Oklahoma Rangers who refused to exchange home series with the Astros) so the Astros could have Friday night off when they returned to Houston after the near-month-long road trip caused by hurricane Harvey, they made some points with me. That was a class move on their part in contrast to the act of the classless Rangers. I won’t forget that. I’m actually pulling for the Mets to make the playoffs this year.

Sad to see DeGrom pitching for the Mets. He posted a 1.70 ERA last season and that got him a 10-9 record. He has a 2.61 ERA so far this year and has a 9-8 record to show for it. He needs to be an Astro. Yes I know. Wishful thinking.
