Today Chirinos receives this honor for sliding at first. One thing is good having the MLB Extra Innings package from Directv, you can watch games that you miss. Especially when they put the whole game in condensed form. Any person teaching the game to young players at a young age will tell you it is quicker to run through the bag and don't try to slide into first on a bang-bang play. The boys in the booth even brought it up. |

Today Chirinos receives this honor for sliding at first. Astros need to hire a base running skills coach...like back to the basics in the off-season....Next regular season, if a base running gaff happens, I want to see that player doing push-ups afterwards ..except for Carlos Correa, can't risk the injury. |
