Bullpen vs. Greinke
I don't recall us having much success against the Rays when they do their bullpen days. Hopefully that isn't the case today. It would be nice to sweep another good team. Personally I'd love to see Altuve have a big day. He's been stranding a lot of runners the last couple games so you would think he's due for a game to balance that out. Somebody is due for an off day today with the early game, I would think.
Anybody see that Jensen blew another Save for LAD? He has 7 on the year now. We're not the only good team with a sputtering closer.

I would like to see Osuna get a 10-day IL/R&R assignment soon. He and Pressley were worked hard earlier in the season. Pressley has had some time on the IL. Hopefully he will be back by mid-September. Osuna looks like he could use a break.

We only have two more series with good teams and one of those is only a 2-game series. |

Continue to leverage Harris in a late inning role. He hasn’t been overworked this season, and I can’t believe I’m saying this but he has been extremely good this season.
Don’t get my words twisted though. Harris has always been a dependable reliever for us. Just this year he has been fantastic!

I doubt if Diaz gets much playing time in the post-season...You don't rest guys at that time. If our wimpy SS is still on vacation, Diaz could play third and Bregman SS. |

You don't rest guys as much, but you make more position player swaps for baserunning, defense, etc. Not to mention he is a solid hitter that could be used to pinch hit, especially in the NL games if we make the WS. |

You don't rest guys as much, but you make more position player swaps for baserunning, defense, etc. Not to mention he is a solid hitter that could be used to pinch hit, especially in the NL games if we make the WS. What they have to do is find a way to keep Alvarez in the lineup in NL parks. The best option there is try to move Brantley to RF and play Yordan in LF. |

Just think how good of a season Yuli could have had if he hadn't been awful the first half. I like that he is flying under the radar a bit (Especially when we need him). If he would have started with 23 HRs in his first 53 games or so the media would have been all over him. |
