HAHA, that kid has no idea who Marisnick is as a player (only that he got an autograph). Must be Corch's boy -"Why do you like Jake Marisnick?" -"He hits a lot of HRs" best interview Julia did tonight.......better than those silly women who never knew when to shut up.,

Harris continues to be excellent and Osuna/Rondon have looked great again the last couple outings.
Great team win.

"Depend" and "Devenski" should only be used in the same sentence if you are referring to adult diapers.

Will Smith struck out Will Smith to end the Giants/Dodgers game. Dodgers now a half-game back of the Astros and Yankees.

We like Miley because he doesn’t make big money nor feels that this team didn’t value him enough. Nobody cares about how much players cost if they're producing, son. Apparently, at least Keuchel cared or else he would’ve re-signed.

Nice win. I went straight to bed before the game this time and saved myself the stress. I woke up about 1 and checked the score, then watched the game knowing the result would be good. I think I'm on to stress free Astros Baseball.
Skipping past the down time really speeds things up.

In any case, I'm not saying I wanted to pay him a ton. Just pointing out that the guy is still an above average pitcher.

To me,. a highlight the last two games has been Kyle Tucker showing signs of why Luhnow refuses to trade him. Clutch hit on Thursday to tie the game when we were down to our last strike after hitting nis first major league home run. He has shown good range in the OF and speed on the bases. He may be here to stay.

Either the cost was too high for the team, or the offer was too low for Keuchel. Either way, Miley provides far more bang for the buck. Let it go.

I also like what I see from Toro both offensively and defensively. He can help once we deal our candy ass shortstop.

I also like what I see from Toro both offensively and defensively. He can help once we deal our candy ass shortstop. Having good, young, cheap talent at multiple positions would be a great mix for a team with focus on keeping its core, more soon-to-be very expensive players (Cole and Springer, along with the already high salaries of Altuve and Verlander) Along with Alvarez, Tucker and Toro; I am hoping Straw, James and Stubbs can be permanent fixtures on the team, even if it is mainly back-up (bench) or bullpen...Pitching wise, it will be great to see two of these players solidify themselves with team next year: Whitley, McCullers, Javier or Bielak... Also here is to hoping Cole re-signs Springer extends And the Astros add one more to Verlander's contract, thus he is under team control until 2023. sign Chirinos to another 1 year contract Trade Correa (hopefully Toro can be his replacement) Reddick (Tucker is his replacement Marisnick (Straw is his younger, cheaper replacement) Don't re-sign Joe Smith Colin McHugh (think he will be too expensive for what he adds to the team) Hector Rendon Wil Harris (only re-sign for a 1 year deal, nothing beyond that) Devo (arbitration, only offer if he can show promise in the off-season) On the Fence Miley (doubt he will be the bargain he was this year, so any money that can keep Cole and re-sign Springer is a higher priority)
