For most of the season Bregman's average was in the .260 - .270 range. I didn't realize how close he was to .300 now.

The Athletics are a tough matchup for the Astros because they work counts well and don’t need to homer you to death to beat you. they also do more of the first to third and second to home type of baserunning, which is probably due to having more team speed.

Three innings 73 pitches for JV. Had to work too hard to put Profar away. Very unJVlike. Heaven knows the offense owes him for the lack of support all year. I doubt they pay their debt to him though.
