Number two...since it always happens in 3's, I wonder who'll be the next rock icon to fall?

The Cars (IMO) were the greatest new wave band of the '80's.
I can tell you as a musician that the 20 seconds say starting at 1:55 of "Its all I Can Do" is 4 part melodic genius. It is spectacular song writing.
So sad to see the Grim REaper start reaching into the 80's rock and roll work world. Eddie Money, and now Rick Ocasek.

Here’s a good farewell song for both Ocasek and Orr.

The amazing thing about Keith Richards is everyone thought he'd be the next to go after Jim Morrison
and that was 48 years ago

Gene Simmons is apparently in the hospital. Hope he's not next.

KISS first band I saw live. They were over the hill by then compared to when y'all were in high school. My big brother is the biggest KISS fan I know
We saw their first reunion with Ace and Peter a few years later and God of Thunder was definitely the highlight

Not really their biggest fan, but was lucky enough (along wth a 100 others) to catch an Ace Freley guitar pick. Gave it to a friend, who I thought at the time was a KISS Army type. Found out a few years ago, that he'd lost it long ago. Some people......... Great stage show..... music though?...... meh

I guess Cokie Roberts could be the 3rd specter, but I was expecting it to be another rock legend.

Come On and Love Me is probly my favorite KISS song, and there's songs from Stevie Nicks' solo albums that I like better than that one

Bear, +10 for originality. Stevie Nicks? In 1976, I was in serious lust with her.

It's not Gene shooting fireballs out the top of his bass, but Stevie performing Stand Back at the '83 US Festival is one of my favorite tapes in my library
