Stubbs is not making the most of this small opportunity.

Why, because of Miley? He needs to be left off that postseason roster. Miley is tossing (I won’t call it pitching) himself off of any playoff rosters. Smith is pitching his way onto the playoff roster(s). His implosion is puzzling. I too vote for him to either left off playoff roster, or if on.... just emergency mop up duty in a blowout loss.

Rump Rangers sure not doing us any favors Down to Oakland 9-0 in the 3rd The Rangers are ready to go home. The A's will sweep them and they close it out with the Yankees in Arlington. We need to have home field wrapped up by then. Yankees have two in Tampa before going to Arlington.

Guys, at this point is Framber, Armenteros, or Urquidy any worse than Miley?

Guys, at this point is Framber, Armenteros, or Urquidy any worse than Miley? Nobody is worse than Miley. I would take Urquidy or Abreu either one over him.,I trust we let him walk and not make him an offer. Something went haywire with him or he just wore out.

Guys, at this point is Framber, Armenteros, or Urquidy any worse than Miley? September Miley or before September Miley? Miley is primed of late to give up a 10 spot in the first. The others are bad, but less apt for disasters. (IMO, and at this moment)

Don't be surprised if he puts him on the post season roster. Sometimes I don't understand AJ and why he keeps using guys who don't do the job when he has other options.

Miley's last start of the season shouldn't affect anything. Might as well let him see if he can bounce back and have value for the postseason.

Too up and down when you rely on homers. The offense needs consistency. Meh. I didn't expect them to win this one, honestly. As most of us always said about Keuchel...you can't expect the team to win when your starter is tossing batting practice in the first inning. Now we have Keuchel's replacement doing the same thing.

If we haven't secured home field by then it would be stupid to let him pitch and take a chance on blowing it. Start Urquidy. I am tired oi hearing Miley say he has to "figure it out". We don't have the luxury of giving him the time.

I think he could be hiding an injury, but, in any case, we don't need to count on him the rest of the year

The playoffs is no place for a starting pitcher to be trying to find himself. If he doesn't get it together this week, he needs to be left off of the PO roster.
