Springer is a must over any move. In terms of importance, my heart says Springer, but my brain says Cole because JV can’t do it alone and can’t rely on a post-TJS McCullers and inconsistent Whitley.

Greinke might be hard to trade. Look trade Correa, Reddick, Jake... Sign Cole and keep Greinke....extend Springer next year. That is exactly what I want to do.

Has to be both ... Cole and Luhnow have an unique opportunity to create a dynasty... Trading away Correa for top prospects will help insure that, because Luhnow, his analytic team and his scouts to get the right players.... I am hoping Reddick yields a diamond in the the rough prospect... Jake, I will be happy for anything. And let's build the bullpen from within!

Trading Greinke isn’t a must. I’m just saying that’s an option. I just can’t picture them keeping Springer or Brantley if they re-sign Cole. I can see Springer, but no on Brantley Brantley is easier to replace than Springer.

It'll be fun coming back here to read this thread when the 2020 season begins. [Picture a thumbs-up emoji here]

This from Crane in the link provided:
"Crane said. "We're going to wait and see what else unfolds and who else is going to stay on the team.
"There's a lot of moves that Jeff (Luhnow) will probably make in the offseason."
Crane is saying what we all know to be true and have all been saying on the board for sone time now. That being, if we are to re-sign Cole, we are going to have to trade some players in order to unload their salaries and make room to sign Cole and remain under the luxury tax threshold. Nothing new here.

Nothing new here. I would have to imagine that winning another championship would play a factor as well. If we win, that will bring in more money. Of course it also means that maybe Crane and co. will be a little content to roll with a couple championships and NOT increase much in the way of spending.

No, it's clear cut. George ignites the offense. When he's on. He's ridiculously streaky offensively. We can say the same for Altuve. We need them both as they are both important. My point is that George seems to provide an emotional lift and lights a fire under the team.

We get it, Corch. We know you don't like Altuve.

We get it, Corch. We know you don't like Altuve. Once again, you are clueless.....but that is no surprise. Pointing out a player's weakness doesn't mean you don't like him. I guess you ignored the post righrt above that one when I said Altuve is important and we need him. As usual, you only see what you think maikes you look right .
