August and September were great for us. Some may say we got healthy while others may say our bullpen got better. Both are true but we also got Greinke at the deadline.
Averaged over 162 game season a .727 winning % would equal to about 118 wins.
I can't help but feel there's magic in the air with this team this season. I just hope that Greinke wasn't acquired because the front office knew Cole was not coming back.

I wouldn't want to be Luhnow this off season. We can't keep everybody we want We needed some home grown pitching (cheap) to keep this thing going and they've let us down. We will have Verlander and Greinke, but I don't think we'll go deep into the luxury tax to keep Cole as much as we'd like to. There's a reason teams rarely go there and almost never stay there.
