Speaking of the Buffalo Dodgers, I wonder what ever became of that squirrelly girly guy from LA who showed up on the old board during the 2017 WS. He probably moved on to High School and doesn't have time for baseball due to the increase in homework.

By the way, I hope the KevinBass account wasn't a troll account made by a current member, because I banned his IP (and not just the account).

We'll find out when they stop posting, haha. Yup. Unfortunately if it was a troll account, nowadays there are plenty of ways to get around that and keep posting even if an IP address was banned.

Let it be known that I was confident in a Game 5 victory while Lydia was “worried”. Watching that Nats/Dodgers game scared me. I will never doubt again. Dave Roberts always looks like me on my first day of school. He’s got to go.

Yankees will move on to the World Series in 5 games. When I left the old board you were a fan. What happened? I don't think that was him. He stopped visiting the old forum after we won the World Series. His whole schtick turned out to be trolling MLB boards of teams who've never won a championship He subsequently moved on to the Rangers board and started being grumpy about their front office
Also kb was a liberal .. so he wouldn't call folks liberal beta boys

I haven't heard that we get more than 25k but, I think we get to make changes to the roster. Hinch should have seen enough of Miley to know he can't be counted on to help us. I had rather have Abreu. How's Peacock doin'? No word on Peacock, and. I think they are scared of Pressly after he was horrible in game one vs. Rays

Let it be known that I was confident in a Game 5 victory while Lydia was “worried”. Was there with you.. How confident are you about Game 1 this Saturday? I’m still confident. Greinke is the wild card. Both the Astros and Yankees don’t know what to expect, but as long as they don’t, there’s an advantage. Even if Greinke screws up, it’s less of a killer in a 7-game series. I’m sure the Dodgers were all yawning after beating us in Game 1. Look how that turned out.

Called it. The little guy was made for big moments. You sure did. Yesterday, I said that the board had a doom and gloom feel pretty similar to prior to G7 of the '17 WS. If there ever was an axiom that best sums up baseball..... Expect the Unexpected.

He's certainly right up there in the top-3 for me already. And the only player that was as good as him in the postseason for us was Berkman (who put up some gaudy numbers of his own).

Berkman doesn’t get his due in the postseason because his last name starts with a ‘B’ and thus he gets lumped in with the other guys who couldn’t buy a postseason RBI to save their lives.

Berkman was great in the postseason. I felt he deserved the MVP for the 2011 WS. He hit .423 and scored 9 runs with an OPS of 1.093. In 11 WS games, he was a career .410 hitter. That's impressive.
