This is the problem I have with the whole thing: did Taubman have to say anything? You’re going to have backlash over getting Osuna, that’s par for the course. As a member of the organization, if you keep your cool, this issue doesn’t happen. I am an Old Testament kind of guy, I quite turning the other cheek and started taking an eye for an eye. |

If we didn't feed you, you'd starve to death son! Haha yes, sir. Were there any reports that this Taubman guy was consistently provoked by the women, or was he just in Crazy Drunkard more? Also, if they were on Osuna’s case, why didn’t they pay a visit to Aroldis next door? And we have a whiny little boy on this board who continues his labeling of Osuna as a "wife beater" even though no evidence has ever been found that be did anything violent to this lying. gold -digging bitch. This little boy didn't like the trade and ranted against it from the beginning and was too stupid to know Luhnow would not have made the deal if there was any chance of Osuna being convicted of domestic violence. He is also too stupid to realize that a man who has never been married cannot be a "wife beater". If Osuna makes a bad pitch that ends in a blown save, he starts in with the "wife beater" bullshit all over again. He ignores the fact that Osuna led the AL in saves at age 24 and that all we gave up to get him was a mentally unstable guy in Ken Giles who hit himself in the face and cursed the manager when he was pulled from his last game as an Astro. It's this kind of dimwit who falls for the crap in these articles. |

Exactly, at least Osuna didn't use a firearm. I don’t really ascribe to the East Coast Bias nonsense, but you didn’t hear much from the media with Chapman’s domestic violence charges. From what we saw from the NYY fans in the ALCS, this is probably normal accepted behavior for them. |

I'm not surprised. If you bring on a wifebeater (or anybody with a shady reputation), you're going to get stuff like this. I'm sure the Astros FO will handle it. I'm surprised that you continue this narrative. Aren't/weren't you in law enforcement? Do you believe in innocence until proven guilty? If so, why keep labeling the man in absence of proof? Because: A. I think there was something. I think we're fooling ourselves otherwise. That being said, I wouldn't convict him in court, and I don't go outside of this board and spread anything about it. B. It also annoys Corch, which adds extra value. |
