Bellinger’s comments are amusing. That choker went 4-28 with 17 Ks vs the Astros in the 2017 WS and followed that up with a 1-16 with 6 Ks vs the Red Sox in the 2018 WS. I'm betting he says that Boston stole the 2018 WS from LA. What a panty waste the guy is. Plus he threw a ball away that cost them two runs in game 7.

They are part of a union so it wouldn’t ever be allowed.. .but I would say a 50 game suspension. Maybe 81 games. for which players? The entire team? What about the players who are now on another team? If Manfred suspended any player who played on the 2017 Astros team, he would have to suspend all of them. In addition to the players the Astros would lose to suspension, the A’s would lose Fiers and Tony Kemp. Rays would lose Morton. White Sox would lose Keuchel. Twins would lose Marwin. Blue Jays would lose Teoscar Hernandez, Giles and Fisher. Mets would lose Jake and JD Davis. Tigers would lose Maybin. Dodgers would lose Tyler White. Red Sox would lose Juan Centeno. Angels would lose Stassi. Pirates would lose Colin Moran and Joe Musgrove. Nationals would lose Will Harris. Some team would lose Collin McHugh. Some team would lose Luke Gregerson. Obviously things would have started getting a little dicey had Manfred decided to suspend players.

We should have invited McHugh to ST.

The players union would have filed a grievance had players been suspended. It will never happen, but the players earned a suspension. And yes, if it happened, let the minor leaguers play for them.

No team which had players on their roster who were using PED’s ceded their WS championship. On another front..., have any of you considered that we have stolen the Yankees’ title as most hated team in baseball? Being a Cowboy fan I am used to rooting for the most hated team in the league. I think deflategate gave everyone a new #1 on the NFL list

This is just starting to get ridiculous. We've got players and fans wanting them to get hurt over breaking a rule. A rule that has been broken before by plenty of other teams. It was wrong to break the rule, but let's not pretend this is something new. How is physically hurting rule-breaking players helping the game? (When again, it's already been talked about and shown that at least a few weren't a part of it, and others spoke out against it.)
And where are any of our Houston-supporting journalists or reporters on voicing some of this? Are none of our local people going to call out MLB for not investigating other teams that have been called out? Is nobody going to call out MLB for these threats (or at the least, dangerous comments that could be taken the wrong way by opposing fans)? Who is going to take responsibility when some crazy Yankee fan runs on the field with a knife or a player gets hit in the head with a thrown beer bottle?
And lastly, why is our PR team not putting out any kind of better statements. We've seen better statements and apologies on Facebook. How about mixing in a little bit of a defense in with the apology? We're just taking all of this crap laying down. And sure we deserve to take some of it...but not to this level.

ESPN has a number of quotes from the cheater, Brian Cashman, condemning the Astros for doing the same damned thing Cashman's team did. It's beyond asinine.

Off subject alittle
Padres willing to add a decent prospect to Wil Myers to move him. Could also take back a contract.
Again the Original thought was Josh Reddick and Player For Wil Myers and Prospect pluse some cash to lower Myers overall cap hit for his contractual years.
Thought would be 30 million spread over three years Club Option Declined. A Prospect like Gabriel Arias along with Myers.
Padres are looking for a SP aswell Framber Valdez would be a Good player yo send to San Diego

This saturation of hate toward the Stros wants you not to turn on any sports information network. League players saying the Comish didn't level enough punishment toward individual players. Maybe they would be happy of slapping the Stros with a 10 games back in the division before the season starts.
Another side note, the Yankees Torres stating if they cheated in 17, they must have did it the last two seasons. Seeing how Bregman was lost at the plate during last season's playoff run, it would be difficult to think he would have been missing pitches that he knew were in coming.

There was a Yankee fan at the Astros facility banging on a trash can while Altuve, Bregman and Correa were taking batting practice. Bum should of been thrown out of the place.

We move Reddick and Framber for Myers at 10pr for 3 years and a up and comming prospect Aries But we only have to suffer through one more season of Reddick and then his money is off the books. If you take on Myers, even at half of his remaining contract you're stuck with at least $22 million after 2020.

I guess Judge forgot that they were fined by the league in 2017. He conveniently forgets that they scored a grand total of 3 runs in their 4 losses in Houston. I fail to see how the Astros sign stealing cost them a chance at going to the WS. Your not going to win many games when all you can muster in a 4 game series is 1-1-1 and 0 runs. Let that steroid junkie whine.

Why is it that us random fans can point out facts like that, but there doesn't appear to be ANY Houston-area or Houston-supportive reporters/sportswriters/journalists/etc. defending the Astros in any way? Let people spout off with what they want, and then point out the fallacies in their statements. This whole thing is a dumpster fire, we might as well have some others burn with us.

Now that's the kind of sh*t that our people should be putting out there on a bigger platform. Where is Richard Justice with an article like that? Where is Allyson Footer or Brian McTaggart? Or even freaking Geoff Blum? Do we have nobody from a PR team willing to go on some talk shows and throw out some actual real information? If a handful of us here can bring up stats to counter the whining of some of these players, and post past cheating instances, and random fans on the internet can share old videos liek this, why can't a more well-known figure? I find it hard to believe that the MLB Network or ESPN wouldn't love to have some back and forth debate with people that support the Astros. edit: It's not about making excuses. It's about being a little more logical and realistic about what has actually happened.

There are journalists defending some of the Astros accusations (Reynolds, Cowherd), but they are few and far between. More fair journalism like this needs to be out there more often. We have too much of “f-ck the Astros” and “f-ck the non-Astros” responses to this scandal.
