where are any of our Houston-supporting journalists or reporters on voicing some of this? Are none of our local people going to call out MLB for not investigating other teams that have been called out? Is nobody going to call out MLB for these threats (or at the least, dangerous comments that could be taken the wrong way by opposing fans)? I wonder if that portends the enthusiasm level we're gonna see from TK, Blummer and Julia this season

See that's what I'm talking about. Why is it that us random fans can point out facts like that, but there doesn't appear to be ANY Houston-area or Houston-supportive reporters/sportswriters/journalists/etc. defending the Astros in any way? Let people spout off with what they want, and then point out the fallacies in their statements. This whole thing is a dumpster fire, we might as well have some others burn with us. Colin Cowherd is the closest I’ve seen. And he's not wrong. The Astros crossed the line, but it's being vastly overplayed. And these teams and players acting like their organizations are completely clean is the most frustrating. Fans are dumb. I don't really care about opposing fans bitching, but some of these players just making stuff up or whining because they sucked need to STFU.

This is the danger of the Twitter Mob culture we live in today. You’re part of the minority if you’re not down with Astro headhunting.

Cowherd is always about having a hot take, but I tend to agree with him here. If Bellinger and his buddies raked at the plate and lost, I’d be one of the few Astros fans to admit we stole something from the Dodgers, but for them to have been so shitty at the plate and with their Game 7 LOB’s, I’m like STFU.

The Yankees and Dodgers players complaining about the 2017 postseason is the most annoying part. The Yankees couldn't score in MMP, which had nothing to do with banging, and the Dodgers couldn't hit period and lost on their own turf. The Astros cheating may have helped during the regular season to get to the playoffs, but we won the division by 21 games. Does anybody really think we weren't going to win the division when our biggest competition didn't even finish at .500??? All the banging did was inflate some numbers against teams dumb enough to not mix up their signs. They deserve to be punished for it, which they were, but all the rest of this is being overblown.

He conveniently forgets that they scored a grand total of 3 runs in their 4 losses in Houston. I fail to see how the Astros sign stealing cost them a chance at going to the WS. Your not going to win many games when all you can muster in a 4 game series is 1-1-1 and 0 runs. Let that steroid junkie whine. See that's what I'm talking about. Why is it that us random fans can point out facts like that, but there doesn't appear to be ANY Houston-area or Houston-supportive reporters/sportswriters/journalists/etc. defending the Astros in any way? Because those reporters are like bannedfan and txheat...over-the-top with their hurt feewings and can’t get over it. They want to see the Astros suffer more.

Mad Dog today had a good response to the Dodgers attack on the Stros, claiming that they didn't deserve the title. Without going into detail, saying they have no one else to blame in 17 and 18 for choking.

I guess Judge forgot that they were fined by the league in 2017. He conveniently forgets that they scored a grand total of 3 runs in their 4 losses in Houston. Dusty on Markakis to a reporter:
“I didn’t think Markakis talked too much. He doesn’t.”
“He did this morning.”
“Okay, well maybe he had his Wheaties in him.”

Neither Judge nor Bellinger could hit a curve ball if the catcher told them it was coming. No amount of sign stealing or can banging could have helped them. If either of them could hit a curve, the 2017 ALCS and WS would likely have turned out differently. Their inability to hit a curve influenced the outcome of the ALCS and WS much more than than did Houston’s can banging.

This saturation of hate toward the Stros wants you not to turn on any sports information network. League players saying the Comish didn't level enough punishment toward individual players. Maybe they would be happy of slapping the Stros with a 10 games back in the division before the season starts. Another side note, the Yankees Torres stating if they cheated in 17, they must have did it the last two seasons. Seeing how Bregman was lost at the plate during last season's playoff run, it would be difficult to think he would have been missing pitches that he knew were in coming. Torres is a gem. He uses playing video games with Severino to support his argument
He should change his name to Glibber Torres

I want to apologize to the Cubs. All these years I have hated them the most, but the Yankees and Dodgers are the true punks in MLB. I really hope the Nationals when the National League again this season. Anybody but the Dodgers....

I don’t usually make fun of a person’s name but “Gleyber”? What were his parents thinking?
