I don’t think any suspension/ban will reach as high as Luhnow. It probably won’t go any higher than Goldstein. I think it is likely that he will be the sacrificial lamb on behalf of the FO.
If the reports of a video monitor showing the catcher’s sign being located in the tunnel between the dugout and clubhouse turn out to be true, I can’t see Hinch avoiding some serious disciplinary action.

I don't think there is any way they'll strip the WS from us, and I don't think they can/will suspend the players. But, if our FO/Coaches/Team Employees really had a large-scale intricate cheating scheme, we deserve to be punished harshly. The more I read about this and see some of these videos, the more I feel it's pretty unacceptable even if we're just one of many teams doing it. The only way I can root for this team going forward is if we "pay for our crimes" properly and move on. And that means stiff repercussions. *IF* this stuff is true, I don't believe we should get anything less than: $10 million fine, loss of several draft picks over the next couple years, and some people from either the coaching staff or FO need to be suspended or possibly banned.
I hope the investigation finds that all of this has been blown out of proportion, I really do. But, we can't hate on players for using PEDs, make fun of the Patriots for their cheating issues, badmouth A-Rod and others, and criticize greedy organizations all while being okay with what our team did. It's all under the same unethical umbrella. (And I'm not referring to stealing signs from second base or noticing pitchers tipping pitches. That's not cheating or unethical.)
Don't sacrifice your honor system just because it's your team. You can admit that your team made some poor decisions and needs to be held responsible for them and still be a fan.

One thing is certain...the Astros aren't going to enjoy their road games next year.

If, as the rumors say, Beltran and Cora were the main instigators of the cheating scheme...would you think they'll suspend them now that they're managing other teams?

Every team in baseball has cameras in or near the dugout to review instant replays so they can decide whether or not to challenge a call on the field. They should have a hell of a time proving they were used for any other purpose.

What Todd said is why I’m disappointed in the fan base. We all talk about those guys being cheaters and that guy did steroids or he did HGH (OMFG Patriots cheaters!), but when it’s our team found culpable of sketchy activity, we all throw ethics out the window.

I hope we don't lose a ton of draft picks. Fines and suspensions are fine with me. I'm ok with taking away our international money.

I don't think fines will be considered sufficient, because it's statutorily limited to $2M.

If the Astros are going to be made an example of, I am guessing Lose 1 and 2nd round picks for the next two years Lose international money for the next two years Hinch suspended thru All-Star Break Luhnow banned for the year.

My team hasn't been found culpable of any sketchy activity. Until real proof is shown, I will continue to defend them. This has gotten absolutely ridiculous. Today is the first day in over a week that I haven't received any news from Yahoo accusing them of cheating. Hoping this witch hunt will end soon.

No, I don't. Was it actually implemented? We don't know for sure.
