If those "former Astros" are like Fires and got dumped, i would not believe a damn thing that comes out of their mouths. I don't know if I'd go that far, but I definitely won't be lighting my hair on fire before the verdict arrivesThat is the approach I'm taking....We are innocent until concrete evidence proves us guilty. I don't give a damn about the verdict of the "Court of Public opinion" which operates primarily on hearsay and bias.

Better than "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS" - Nathangarza. No, it’s not any better. Both are asinine. Assuming guilt because of hearsay and the mouthing off of some butt hurt loser that we dumped is also asinine. Determining guilt when no solid evidence has been presented is ridiculous. Unless they find CONCRETE proof that we used electronic equipment to illegally stel signs, the whole thing is bullshit. And, you can't convict on cameras that are accessible to the dugout because all teams have access to them to use to determine if they want to challenge a call on the field. Listening to a gutless asshole like Fiers is worse than asinine.

Listening to a gutless asshole like Fiers is worse than asinine. They have TV monitors in the dugout but they are on at least an eight second delay, the players look at those to see if they swung at a ball or not. When ever they wait to see if they will challenge a play, they use a phone to talk to someone in the booth that has access to multiple angles before they decide.

In any case, since those cameras are used for different things, I see no way for them to claim we cheated by using them. Now, if they prove we had outfield cameras we were using, that is a different story.

What's asinine is jumping to conclusions around the team's behavior based on potential sour grapes of one low life who missed out on a WS ring. I highly question the motives of an admitted jitlted party. Plus, give me some iron clad proof of cheating. Bangng on pipes while the 100 decibel crowd at MMP is screaming? Come on.

If you dig enough, I am sure Mlb can link every team, in every World Series to something. I agree, we screwed up. But I do not think we should be raped. I never said off with there heads im saying we arent or was not ever liked by the nstional media or just about every sports channel. They tend to love the big guys boston new york etc. But if they proved we only beat them cuz we cheated they will push and push and push till something big happens regardless. That's what pisses me off the most about this is there's a real potential for the penalty to be harsher than anything say the Patriots have gotten from the NFL for years of doing the same thing Just cause Boston has a closer proximity to the national media complex

There’s a reason I feel like they’ll go extra tough on us.

We’re not the only ones discussing the idea of trading Karlos . From mlbtr:
“If the Astros have grown weary of Correa’s injury troubles, could they even utilize him to acquire starting pitching help and make a separate run at a high-end trade target? Francisco Lindor and Kris Bryant have already seen their names pop up in rumors, and the free-agent market isn’t short on quality third basemen if the team is comfortable with Bregman playing shortstop on a full-time basis.”

Outside of the Dodgers who has extra starters and needs a short stop.

After we trade Karla, he's going to squeal that he was on the "IL" so that he could sit in the CF bleachers and run the camera.

We signed Dustin Garneau to a one year deal. Probably just minor league deal. He has shown as good offense in the it's recently and had a solid season in limited ABs with Oakland and LAA last year.

Who? ETA: Whoo boy - Over 381 lifetime plate appearances at the game’s highest level, Garneau has slashed just .207/.290/.343.

Why would we want Garneau unless we need him on a minor league roster/

Why would we want Garneau unless we need him on a minor league roster/ He's out of options and currently on the Astros' 40. He'll be on the major league roster when the Astros break camp or they'll have to DFA him.

Probably an insurance plan for the backup catcher spot if Stubbs gets hurt or is garbage in ST.

Not that it's anything to get excited about, but the guy has shown some potential recently. If he was fatter and had a beard he'd probably be an All-Star for the Dodgers next year...
He was actually a slightly above-average hitter in his 35 Games last year: 3 HR 14 RBI 103 OPS+ He also has pretty good CS percentages for his career.
