All I’ve got to say is that after the Greinke trade, this is the worst possible time to lose draft picks. Very painful.

This is one of the reasons i think we need to try and get some young guys from a couple of trades. We are gonna hurt in a couple of years. And if and I say if they do some kind of no draft compensation if you of the current players on our roster leaves the team regardles of the player. Then we would be really screwed. Js. The way this is playing out its like we are gonna get more then a slap on the wrist. We are gonna get atleast a Black eye or two We haven't lost anything yet. Our best option for a catcher is Chirinos with Stubbs as backup. I agree with this, been my take too... Things to get done in the off-season: Trade Correa, Reddick and Marisnick Re-sign Chirinos Sign a #3 grade SP to a 4 year deal Sign two bullpen arms Correa, Reddick, Yuli and Marisnick. I think we could retool with a trade of all of those guys. This is the easiest route. Yuli will not stay here, and why in the sam Hell would you want him to at his age? Js Capitalize while you can. That way if and I say If you can make some strong offer to a FA this year or next you will have money to play with. You want to keep Springer but we stillneed money. |

I agree with this, been my take too... I like how the players like him and Gurriel emphasize beating the hell out of the pitch and not necessarily going for distance. We need line drive hitting on this team. Lazy fly balls to center field killed us like in the World Series. |

U r correct we shouldnt. But we will be. He has to do something that stings. I never said off with there heads im saying we arent or was not ever liked by the nstional media or just about every sports channel. They tend to love the big guys boston new york etc. But if they proved we only beat them cuz we cheated they will push and push and push till something big happens regardless. Its not there call duh. But you dont think they talk to manfred telling him how they had to cheat us to beat us. The Astros dont get media hype like other teams. We are hated and this just puts us even higher in the pole of hate We will get the harshest penalties Im willing to bet on it. Its gonna be wsy higher then anything else |
