Also Astros may try for Austin Hedges
And there has been a talk about Josh Reddick to the Padres for Wil Myers and the Padres eat 12m per till his contract is over.
So Myers 2020 10m, 2021 10m and 2022 10m
Instead of his 22.5m per year.
It only saves the Astros 3 million.
IDK how that would work but yea

They can’t pay him too much for it to be worth it, but he’s versatile, is a former top hitting prospect, and plays adequate defense. The legit knock on him is his health, though. Getting him does have its share of risk. Hedges is a legitimate catcher. He’s one of the top defenders at that position. |
