I like Kluber, but he’s a little like Kershaw in the postseason. He just doesn’t show up.

Serious question if they are moving contracts why not call and see About Brad Hand or Clevinger or an outside chance on Lindor?
Im sure if theres a deal there it could be made by the Astros.

Clevinger will have his first arb this winter and is estimated to make a mere $4.5M. Even if the Indians were tearing their team down completely, he'd be the last player they would put on the auction block.

The Padres are trying everything to move Wil Myers and Austin Hedges. Idk if the Astros baulked at it or not but its quite

Diamondbacks and Bumgarner finalizing a five-year deal. Sorry, abregmanfan. Any money we spend on FA's this winter will be for those we get in the Bargain basement. If we aren't spending money on pitching, then, we need to make a top dollar offer to Springer on an extension

“@ken_Rosenthal OF Delino DeShields Jr. and RHP Emmanuel Clase heading to #Indians for Kluber, source tells The Athletic.” So, I guess DeShields mouthing off about the Astros didn’t keep him in the Rangers’ good graces. DeShields played zero games at the MLB for Houston, and he is a expert on our cheating. /s What some punks won't do for a little press.

Possibly my favorite memory of Keuchel’s years with Houston was when DDJr, after being called out on strikes, stood whining to the HP umpire and then they put the TV camera on Keuchel’s face as he told Deshields, “Sit down!!” I loved it.

Hmm three million a year less than he desired. That’s surprising.

Career OPS+ Delino DeShields - 76 Jake Marisnick - 79 Three measly points makes that much difference? Okay ... Tony Kemp - 84 With the bat, Marisnick makes Kemp look like Mike Trout.

Heck, I’m 68 years old and I can throw a ball farther than him.

There’s a reason why he’s always the DH.

Except Kluber showed up in the WS. He left a little to be desired in that Game 7. They don't even get to Game 7 without him. He dominated games 1 and 4.

I think Bumgarner was too scared to leave the NL West and the comfort of some of those pitcher-friendly parks. He settled.

And, looking back, most of us were idiots for being mad at Beltran leaving. He didn't owe us anything. He played his ass off for us while we had him.
