This would make it easier for them to trade a couple those yound SP for Correa as I mentioned before. That team is a sleeper In the making kinda, like the Oaklands As where last couple years.
Correa could push that club over the mark.
Wonder what it would take to move Reddick and Correa plus something for Micheal Kopach, James McCann, Aaron Bummer and Jonathan Stiever?
That team would be a Juggarnaut.

I was trying to figure out what it would take in the way of a starter for Houston to project an era similar to last years. In doing this I assumed that the guys on the roster would project a repeat and added McCullers annual averages. In doing this what came back was a guy who could gives us 144 innings of 4.16 baseball. That seems a lot easier to do versus replacing Cole.

Ryu to the Blue Jays 4-years $80 million.
I'm really glad to see the White Sox and Blue Jays making an effort this offseason. They might not end up improving that much this year, but they're certainly much more respectable on paper. You can't say they aren't trying some.

I expect them to be what they normally are now (at least for another year or so). Mid to high 3.00 ERA with lots of groundballs and not enough strikeouts. |

It hasn’t been an improvement yet. They need to get on it. |
