Ian Kinsler retired today and opted to remain with the Padres’ front office in a minor capacity. He finishes with 1,999 career hits and as a world champion (2018, Red Sox).

I think we can safely say there are no less than 29 teams other than the Rangers that Kinsler would rather be on, to end his career.

I heard that, too......... I wonder if they made Chirinos an offer, and, if they did, what was it. I can't believe they had rather have Maldonado.

Man, they must really love Maldonado. I love Maldonado. You don't? I do. I actually like him as much as Chirinos. You just don’t always see a player get traded for twice and then re-signed.

I’m convinced the injury explanation was so stupid that it had to be the truth. I am convinced hoochie coohie girl broke it during some rough "activity". The activity was a fight between Daniella and the masseuse. Carlos got elbowed trying to break it up

I think Mike Trout showed the error in that "MVPs don't sit on their ass half a season" bit when he sat on his ass, and won the MVP Trout should not have won the MVP, either...Bregman deserved it. Trout has a history of getting injured when the Angels get eliminated. He bales out. You don't really believe that, right? 2019 was the first year he didn't finish the season; he needed surgery. He was on pace for 50 HR and his best season ever, he would have played if he could. He actually played a month with the bad foot before it became too painful. Screw the Angels, but Trout is special. lf you're a baseball fan you have to appreciate his greatness.
In 2017 he missed time in the middle of the season with torn ligaments in his thumb from sliding into 2B. 2018 he missed 10 games with a hamstring and attending his wife's brother funeral. And that's it.

I wonder what made Maldonado re-sign this time around. i never heard that we made him an offer after 2018. i would take Chirinos based on his offensive production.

Trout got the award based on his name. And i do believe that Trout's injuries seem to happen after the Angels are out of the race, which is usually by the all-star break. Bregman deserved the award.......He led his team to the WS. Trout led the Angels to finish 30 games behind the Astros. Giving Trput the MVP was a joke.

Some people like to create their own narrative to tear down players they dislike. Trout ' bales bails', Correa has 'supposed' injuries, blah, blah, blah. It's both amusing and pathetic.
