I'll keep saying it. This offense is due for a major explosion.

That's cheating. Anyway, it results in a single Windsor when everybody knows a double Windsor is better.

Have to win tonight. Urquidy seems to be level headed enough to handle it. Need a big inning from the offense. When did that last happen?

Man, it would have been nice having Lance coming out of the pen this series.

Man, it would have been nice having Lance coming out of the pen this series. Yes it would have been....but he will bolster the pen next year....fill the gap to be left by Harris, who is going to get paid...Pressly should be back to form next year.....I am guessing JJ because either 5th starter or long inning reliever.... Whitley maybe another 1/2 season to full season away.

Don't be surprised if McCullers is in the rotation next year.....depending on how things work out with Cole, the progress of Whitley, and any free agent pitching we could sign. Cole isn't the only good free agent starter available.

Harris is going to leave as arguably our best non-closer reliever.

Fun tidbit. The first ever "World Series" game was played in 1884 between NY Mets and Providence Grays. It was a best of 3 with the Mets winning the first two. Instead of ending the series there as the Mets already won their two games, they still played the third game even though it didn't mean anything.
The second game was also called in the 7th, giving the Mets a 3-1 win due to darkness and cold.

BTW, I wouldn't be surprised to see Strasburg somewhere in this game today. Scherzer won't be as he starts tomorrow but Strasburg has the next two days off so this would be a throwing day anyhow.
On the flip side, there's no way Cole or Greinke go and Verlander is 100% not coming in the game. Look for Rondon to get an inning and Devo if it becomes a blowout. Other than that I expect the same rotation as yesterday.
James, Peacock, Harris, Smith, Osuna

Lastly, I think Bregman comes alive today and puts us in position to win this game today. He was hitting the ball hard, just unlucky, and that intentional walk to Brantley to get to him most likely hit a fire under him to be better.
I want to see Bregs throw up the 4 fingers again because he seems to play better when he's over confident as opposed to passive.
