Just read he has neck/back issues. He received an injection but they’re saving him for game 7. Like there’s going to be a game 7.

As long as the ump didn't get the card yet then it can still be changed. I think they don't present it to the ump until just before game time.
But honestly, I think he will keep Alvy in. He already stated that he'd get one crack in the outfield.

I agree, Alvarez is a huge liability in the OF....especially with Brantley, and his limited range, in the OF as well. |

Ross is a right hander. Alvarez probably remains in the lineup. Ross has pitched 2 scoreless innings against us so far. There's no telling what the least minute replacement has done to our scouting report.

Ross hasn’t started a game in a month. Doesn’t mean as much with bullpen games, but their bullpen is a risk.
