If you're nervous even with my lucky socks on, you better tell thomasj13 to fire up the Weber!

Tonight's game will reveal a lot about the character of this team. I know some won't like or agree with it but that is how I see it. If this series was decided on the talent of the rosters from top to bottom, the Astros would have it wrapped up before now. The Nats took the three shots we gave them in DC and came back and punched us last night. The toughest team and team who wants it the most will win tonight's game
If Scherzer's stiffness was as severe as he acted like it was on Saturday, he would not be starting tonight's game. We should make him field bunts and test that back. All we heard before game 6 was Scherzer and game 7. Scherzer's so-called stiffness was given center stage to the point that it distracted from last night's game.
Greinke gets the start, but, I have a feeling that Urquidy and Cole are going to play a huge role in this game. The only guy Hinch won't use is Verlander. The rest better be ready. We must put together better at bats than we did last night and be preopared for Corbin if Scherzer shows any sign that he isn't up to the task.

Suzuki scratched from the lineup. Gomes will start. If I were Suzuki, I’d have to be half dead to not play a WS Game 7.

If they can put up a crooked number early, they'll do it. i.e. 2017 WS Game 7
Bottom line: A lot of people seem to be setting themselves up to be pissed if we lose for some reason. It's one thing to be disappointed, but if we lose tonight it won't be from lack of heart, hustle, or because we failed to meet expectations. We're a good team that did a ton of stuff right all year. We battled through two tough playoff series to get here, and we've had to battle this whole series. If becoming a baseball dynasty were easy we'd see more teams doing it. Win or lose, this has been an impressive season by several impressive players. They brought Houston another pennant, and nobody can say that losing a 7-game WS is a failure. Disappointing? Sure. Failure? No.
Go 'Stros!

Nobody expected it to be easy, but, great teams don't lose all four games of the WS at home.

I suspect Scherzer is properly doped up. My question is whether that affects his pitching.
