Did you notice you have Verlander down for two spots on the pitching staff? The only argument I have is with Devenski. He will have to prove to me that he isn't useless. i would love to see a healthy Peacock. When I've see Hughes on the TV games, he has looked terrible. Oooops! Subtract the second Verlander and add Peacock. No, keep 2nd Verlander (just have Verlander cloned).. Multiplicity. |

I’ve gotta tell you. Prior to the beginning of ST most of us were thinking we needed to go outside the organization and get another pitcher or two. With the way Abreu, James and Framber are throwing the ball right now we may be in really good shape going into the season with the options we have in house.

Those guys need to step up in case one of the elder statesmen get hurt. We might still need a FA addition just to help out. |

This has been a rough spring for us. I am not sure who told the writer of the article that we opened the season at Oakland on March 26. We open at home against the Angels that day. Let's hope he doesn't miss more than a couple of starts. |
