Additional questions:
1. JV likely gets 12-13 starts. What's his record?
2. Who leads the team in HRs? (Does anybody even get to 25 HRs?)

If they play, we win over 40 games. Not having the Yankees and Red Sox on the schedule helps.

I do not think that the season will actually even get started, but if it does then New York, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, LA, Miami and Tampa will all lose to many players and coaches to the quarantine once play does start. This is really a fools errand to get this underway. My apologies on being such a downer on this but this stuff is just too contagious to get people together and not expect it to spread. you would have to test everyone every day to keep 1 case from infecting a third of the team. That just aint going to happen.

I don't know who Lydia is but she sounds nice.
43 wins.
JV 9-2
It should be Yordan. He could crack 20. Spring can crack 20. Given who's in Summer Camp at the moment I'll go with.... Correa to lead with 21 homers on the short regular season. Just to go against the grain a little.

As much as I want this to happen, it Ain't and neither is football.

I don't see how even that's going to happen My brain can deal with the NFL season being cancelled, but college? Seems like an alternate reality

I think the Ncaa would cancel the season before the Nfl. They are both big money makers, though.

I think the Ncaa would cancel the season before the Nfl. They are both big money makers, though. The fact that they are big money-makers is why they won't play......the main goal of this entire COVID 19 deal is to hurt the economy as much as possible. It is purely political. It is easy to see that the media and many wrong headed politicians are making the covid political. DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND ME, COVID IS DEAD SERIOUS. It is just not as serious as they make it out to be and because of that some folks do not take it seriously. Here is what I mean. If you go to WORLDMETER.COM and click on covid at the top of the page you will be able to see the stats per country/state/county. In the states that want to know exactly where they stand and to educate their populous where it stands, they publish the resolved cases so that an educated person can figure out just how serious the virus. Take the state of Texas. As of yesterday there were 3200 +/- deaths, 136,000 recovered cases. Do the math and you can see that in Texas there is a death rate of 2.5% of the KNOWN CASES. When you factor in the studies that have been done on the number of folks that have been infected versus tested positive you get an average of 13 people infected for every positive result. So assuming the rate of recovery for every unknown asymptomatic case is the same as for the known cases, (most likely higher), then you get an actual death rate of .00186652. So for every 1000 people infected there are 1.87 deaths. Not 80 like you hear on TV. To be sure that is a lot of deaths especially if you or a loved one is one of those folks. A final number to consider, in order to get herd immunity, (if there is such a thing with this virus), there will have to be 54,129 Texans die based on current stats. Also there will have to be 597184 Americans die again based on current stats for Texas extrapolated to the country as a whole. The good news is that by the end of the year there will be over 1 million Americans that have been vaccinated and by March there will be 100 million.
