Son, you’ve defended Devo tons too. What does that has to do with Harris? Devo has mostly good peripherals and he's cheap. But, I do agree he is on his last legs. When do those peripherals you've been spouting about for years finally come into play and allow this mfer to get a hitter out? |

It would be difficult to do a worse job of managing a game than Baker did today. He starts a guy as DH who had just come up from the minors while keeping Tucker on the bench. Then, in the 9th,he uses Tucker to pinch hit for his hottest hiiter. Tucker doubles to start the inning. I wish he had gotten the at bats wasted on Taylor Jones. He pulls Greinke to use Biagini, who immediately gives up two runs. We get the lead back and Dusty brings in Devenski to give the game away.
Is Myles Straw injured? If not, why was Stubbs used to run for Brantley instead of Straw?
Early in the season but this loss is squarely on the shoulders of Baker.l
I hope Click is looking to trade for a reliever.

If it’s a UCL tear, we may have seen the last of JV in the orange and blue. |

"Struck out the side" doesn't accurately describe that inning, though. He did ultimately strike out the side, but he struggled as usual through most of the inning. "Struck out the side" makes it sound like he dominated. |
