Verlander to be shut down for two weeks and then re-evaluated. So we don't know how long he will be out. I would trust Whitley is brought up This sounds a lot like what they did with McCullers a couple years ago. They should plan for him not coming back this year. If it’s a UCL tear, we may have seen the last of JV in the orange and blue. Sounds like they will just have to wait before determining exactly what to do. |

Right now we need our big bats to wake up. Springer has the home run on Saturday and that's it. Bregman is in one of his popup streaks. Tucker needs to DH every day. One of the worst plays in today's game was Bregman running into the third out at third base..no excuse for that.
