McCullers vs. Ray
After eeking out a win to stay above .500 on Sunday, the team looked really good last night (mostly). Hopefully this can start a nice stretch for them.

Maybe Brantley will be back in the lineup. |

That Javier kid is on the verge of stardom. I hate that we have injuries to Verlander, Osuna, Peacock, and others,but, these injuries have allowed us to get a look at Javier, Blelak, and Taylor. Javier is pitching like he wants to stay in the rotation. If Urquidy can come back and be effective, we have a decent rotation even without JV and if he comes back, we are in great shape. The big disappointment so far has been James because I had hopes that he had gotten his wildness under control. Abreu has not looked as good as last season. Losing Devenski and Biagini goes on the plus side....both are terrible. |

This inning is just shitty managing. Lance is getting hit like a piñata, and there was not one mound visit to settle him down. Six runs and no outs later, they have pitchers starting to get loose in the bullpen.
