I would think that the Reds, Mets and Phillies would be trade suitors for Correa in the OS. I am not convinced we won't re-sign him. If we deal him, we need to get back a top pitcher and solid prospect. If we don't keep Carlos, we have a big hole to fill at SS...and we don't have anyone to fill it. If only Diaz could stay healthy and us re-sign him. I like him alot.

I can't believe we kept Mayfield and sent Jones out. Mayfield is terrible. He is not a major league player.

Carlos Correa will end up switching to 3b. It will protect his health alittle.
I believe he would resign. He doesn't owe anyone I think he just loves Jose.
If you do trade him. You better get some badass prospects and one of them better be a Ss and a CF. Everything else at that point wouldn't matter. You have a abundance of Qualities in SP. Its your BP that's poop. FA should be crazy next year for the Astros in that market.

I think he stays unless he is traded. I think yhe plan is to move on from Springer. And use that money to facilitate a deal.
If you trade Correa I'd expect it to be this offseason and I'd expect a very very favorable return from Who ever we would talk to.
But again, I believe he stays.

If they listened to you, we would have an on-going roster of AAA players.

For his postion and he hasn't played up to that this year. This is a walk year and he is not doing well. Some team will jump to add him. He will leave for the money, this is his last chance man. Dont you get that? Astros cannot afford to offer him big contract like you think he deserves 30m + Do you get it or should I pull the Springer jock strap from your eyes? For Pete's sake man. Yuli is worth under 15m per and no longer then 2yrs. There needs to be team options on the 2yr. He is old and yes he plays A++++++ DEF for now and he hits for decent avg for now. But a year older. Some more where and tear and that can all change. Its much harder for an older player to recover. Look at Verlander 👀👀👀👀 This is qhat you have to watch for. Is the risk worth the reward for either? Were talking 45m + for two players in premium spots for injurys to happen... To me NO. Springer would have to move to RF or LF and Yuli only 1B and a 2yr deal only. But money will be there issue. This goes the same way with Brantley. Soon to be 34yr old who is hitting fairly well this year. Some one will offer him 20m to come play for them. Is he worth 20m to you? Not me. Reddick has to go. We dont need that squatter mentality.

I don't know that we can keep Springer, but, you sure as hell don't know that we can 't. If it were up to you, we'd dump half the roster and sign your boy, Realmuto. We are all thankful you don't have a say in personnel matters. Oh, by the way......how many of your 'guaranteed" trades or signings ever materialized......NONE. I am afraid that you are the one who doesn't get. You don't win titles dumping proven winners and replacing them with prospects.

On a side note, I saw that the Brewers "refused"to play their game against the Reds Wednesday night so they could join the Bucks in boycotting due to "racial injustice" I guess these players think that blacks buy most of the tickets and merchandise that pays their salaries. The idiots are cutting their own throats to support a Marxist group of domestic terrorists, BLM and Antifa.

Hmmmm I guess I was wrong all the way around on there intreast in Harper. That's wierd. Like the Astros weren't intereasted in Realmuto. I guess they didn't say no on Tucker and Whitley. Idk I guess what I say is 100% false. Js but again I guess Astros weren't intreasted in anyone. They would just set back and wait for someone to offer to them and never make a push for a single person. Its ok though. I trust my source. He has been wright on everything he has said so far. On players the Astros have been intreasted in. And that the Astros always circle back around and try and nab a player in the offseason. I doubt they would go back for Simmons qhom will be a FA. But I'd watch for Josh Bell..... Only one I was way off on was Castellanos. But idk

I don't think Hader would've gotten that popular where his tweets became a news story if he'd stayed in the Astros organization He probably would've toiled in the minors, had an outburst with one of his coaches, and gotten banned 50 games for a substance you're not supposed to use
