Has there been any more updates on Verlander's progress or guessing when he could return? I saw where Cole had lost three straight for the Yankees and laughed my head off. Just what I hoped for when he signed with them. LOL LOL

Our pitching will be weak for the rest of the season unless Verlander comes back and the starters stop being knocked out so early. The bullpen is going on fumes after McCullers had a "dead arm' Friday. Bringing Devenski back just added another dud to the pen. Baker blew game one yesterday by using Devenski and Sneed. He can't keep worrying about the next game instead of concentrating on winning the one being played. |

I would’ve brought him in for at least one of the two games. Exactly. That is an example of why I say Baker sucks at managing pitching. He blew a DH and his closer stayed in the bullpen. I have seen nothing to make me think he should be kept on as manager. Fire him, try to get Hinch back, or go another route. We won't win with Baker managing the team. |

Yesterday, he said it was a "dead arm" and I thought that was a cop out. So, now they come up a neck issue. I think it's between his ears. If it isn't, why is he dominant at home a awful on the road? Maybe one day they will wise up and put him in the pen where he belongs. |

When you put Mayfield and Toro both in the lineup today, we didn't have very high expectations. Without Tucker, we would be in worse trouble.
Putting Taylor Jones back on the taxi squad and keeping Mayfield is the reason Toro is playing first base today.

I’m watching Empire Strikes Back. It’s more entertaining. Great choice. I watched Austin Powers earlier. I watched an old Aloha Bowl from 20+ years ago. Tony Gonzalez started for Cal and I think he was a senior
