Nobody suffers from the shifts more than McCann. Stassi excels against LHP so I really would prefer him to catch in a game vs Manaea. As you say, McCann is often an easy out due to his heavy ground ball pull tendency. And slow speed. |

For a fast guy, Springer has never had real success stealing. Probably saved Altuve a K though.

There are only 4 Astros who have the speed to steal base:
Fisher
Marisnick
Correa
Altuve
Springer is not on that list. It's hard enough to put men on base against Manaea. No need to give him an easy out.

No need to give him an easy out. I think guys like Springer and Bregman have the speed to steal bases. Do they have the ability to time and read pitchers like Bagwell? No. |
