I hope the fact that they aren't offering Brantley a QO is that they think get him on another 2-year deal for less than $19 mil a year...

I would trade Whitley for a year of Bryant absolutely. I don't care about Almora...rather just use Straw.

Yeah. I'd take that for one more good chance at a championship.

It is fun to speculate on what could happen but I really do not see anything of note happening before the end of January. If players sign they will have to do so for a discount, if management signs someone they run the risk of paying a premium.
My best guess is the dam will break when there is an effective vaccine that is getting distributed and people are getting the shot.

On the plus side, an OF of Tucker, JBJ, and Straw could be among the best defensively in the league from a runs saved perspective. Add in Correa's arm at cutoff (if he doesn't get traded) and you've got something pretty impressive defensively. The offense would take a big hit if Yordan can't stay healthy though... |
