Astros rocked Mengden last time he pitched against them. Mengden exited in the third inning and the Astros went on to win, 11-0.

Time to make it a habit.

I'm more concerned about both Fisher and Jake playing at the same time. We need runners on base in front of Springer (as long as there aren't 2 outs) while he's so hot. He'll fall back into a cold streak in a few games so we need to capitalize.

Exactly. I think AJ is looking at how the Astros' last game against Mengden turned out (11-0) and thinks having Correa in would be overkill.

This lineup should still be able to score 5 runs today.

Tomorrow is an off day. Maybe a day to finally replace Gattis. We can hope.

I had much rather see Fisher and Jake at the same time than to see Gattis at ANY time.  At least, they can cover the outfield.

Unless you’re down one or tied and have McCann at 3rd base with less than 2 outs. You’ve then got Gattis as the only option to run for him.

Overkill is what this offense needs to do. If they were going to give someone a day off, let it be Altuve.

It's not saying much, but Gattis is faster than McCann.   With today's lineup, we could use Correa to run for McCann

I like the BILASPORT feed because the previous game is available so you can watch the highlights of the previous game while waiting for the upcoming game. I just watched Correa pop up in the infield with the bases loaded and one out. Maybe he does need a day off.
