Shutout on a one-hitter by the Rangers. SMH. How in the world did this team score 16 runs just three games ago?

I actually think a losing streak this month may benefit this team in the long run. Because this "score all of the runs in 2 games then nothing in the next 5" is all mental

What an embarrassing peformance........have a one-hit shutout thrown against you on your home field by the WORST pitching staff in baseball. Pzthetic when Gattis gets your only hit.

I wonder what time these guys are showing up to MMP on game days
and how it compares to the time they show up at the park for away games

Welp, I stayed patient but even I'm ready to kick Jake and Gattis. We're a quarter of the way done and they've shown no improvement.
Changes need to be made. If noting else but to try and jumpstart this team. And if Springer misses a few games it's going to get even worse.

I said it before the game started, Hinch wrote up the lineup in a way that tied one hand behind the team's back right from the get-go

Stassi kills LHP and should have started either as C or as DH

Springer is day to day with left elbow contustion
Time for Hinch to pull the plug. Send Marisnick to the DL and call up Kemp or Davis as an extra outfielder.

Tucker just pinch hit for White in the fifth inning of the Fresno game. I would like to believe they are about to put him on a red-eye flight to Houston, but that’s probably too much to hope for.

I would like to think it means he's coming to MMP. The only other reason I could imagine is that earlier in the game, White was hit by a pitch and maybe he is being taken out to put whatever part it was on ice.

That's two games in a row White has been HBP.

Stassi kills LHP and should have started either as C or as DH We can expect McCann to catch every game Verlander pitches. At least, that is my guess. Hamels is not a lefty that McCann and Reddick can hit.

Moves have to be made. we have too many automatic outs on this roster. Gattis needs to go even though he had our ONE hit against the Rangers tonight. Jake needs to go to the DL if he can't be optioned. I expect Kyle Tucker to be here in June., but, we need help now.

Verlander is A+. Play some small ball if necessary and scratch out a couple runs. It’s like they just wait for Altuve to get on base to try anything new. I applaud Reddick for tagging and going to 2nd base.

Luhnow has to give AJ some more ammunition. Yeah, I mean at this point, what can Hinch do? Literally, the whole lineup stinks right now. It’s as if Luhnow sold his soul for a championship last season, and now the other side is showing.

White and Davis can have an immediate positive effect. Tucker still doesn't look ready for the big leagues but Kemp is probably as ready as he'll ever be. He's not ideal, but there's no rule that says you have to wait till July 31 to make a trade. There are a few 110 OPS+ outfielders out there who are ready to go now.

Have AJ or Luhnow publicly stated why they have not brought up White or Davis yet?

Have AJ or Luhnow publicly stated why they have not brought up White or Davis yet? Not that I have heard. It's a nearly indefensible position from a winning-games perspective. It's only really defensible from a budget perspective (got to try to get value out of the Sipp and Gattis contracts, which together are around $12 million this year or $2 million/month of playing time. It's an awful lot of money to flush down the drain. However, it's not like White or Davis would earn much money if they are called up, so the net impact to the payroll would be small. White's and Davis's clocks were started in 2016-17 so it's not like keeping them in the minors helps extend their years of club control either.

Money determines playing time. That’s why Gattis, Marisnick, and Sipp have tenure.
