This is a terrible trade. Why give up your starting CF for this guy? He is supposed to be strengthening the roster. He just weakened it. Click had a good week up until this....He shit the bed here. I really don't get it....This is just dumb, Click must have gotten a CF....But regardless, I would rather Click have gotten another CF and kept Straw. Astros don't need Maton. The more I think about this, the less sense it makes. I thought when I heard this that he had Buxton. |

Yeah, I don't understand this one at all. We couldn't have gotten Bleier or Fry for Straw? We should have gotten an OF in any trade for Straw. This leaves a hole in the OF. I think Chas has a chance to be considerably better than Straw, but it certainly weakens our depth in the OF. |

I think Maton has some potential and he'll be super cheap for a few years. I just feel like we could have gotten better for Straw. Maybe Straw isn't highly valued in this new power-crazed baseball world. They probably got tired of seeing too many weak fly ball outs. But, I don't see Chas as full time CF at this point. |

Click is definitely Tampa Bay Minded...he has a hard-on for relievers....so next time any of us complain about him not valuing a bullpen...don't speak too soon, b/c he will trade away your starting CF for someone that might pitch in the 6th or 7th inning....On surface this is just F'n stupid, so surely Click upgraded at CF, it is just waiting to be announced.

My thinking exactly. I like Chas better in the long run..He has the speed as well as power. He has been a run producer when he is in the lineup. He needs to cut down on K's. Question is WHO is our 4th outfielder? |

Meyers hitting 343 with an ops over 1000 10 stolen bases 16 home runs no errors on the year and 4 of assists. Drafted in the 13th round and up til this year he was never thought of much as a hitter.
