Using Castro was a fantastic move....one of the few he has made. Damn. I am toast... The effing dumbass follows up a good move by bringing in Taylor to give them the lead right back.....double and home run. This damn fool keeps screwing up the pitching. Hell, he has guys in the pen who strike people out but he is too effing stupid to use them.

Giving the lead right back to the royals is all I need to see. Night fellas. BEFORE AN OUT WAS RECORDED.

As usual, our “relief” steals a win from a starter.

Whew...thought it was tied up It has been fun. Ya'll try not to kill each other and remember everyone on here wants the same thing. An Astros World Serious Championship.... we don't win a WS with this old piece of shit managing the team. He is a joke and disgrace.

If we lose, I hope he is asked about that pitching move so he can squirm and make a lame excuse.

Winners find a way to win. Losers find a way to lose. It doesn’t matter what the Astros overall record is. Right now they are losers.

Winners find a way to win. Losers find a way to lose. It doesn’t matter what the Astros overall record is. Right now they are losers and have been for a while. First, Dusty puts Taylor in the game to give up a two run home run and then does what he should have done in the first place......put Graveman in the game. We lost on Monday because of his pitching screw ups and he did it again tonight. We would have at least tied the game in the 9th if Yuli had not had a pitiful at bat.....He leads off and works the count to 3-1 and then swung at a pitch a foot outside for strike two and then popped out. Our rookies, Chas and Jake, both get solid singles. Castro lines out to left and Jose singles to left. I don't care what the replay official said, Chas got a hand on the plate before Perez tagged him. But, with how things go for us, I didn't expect to get the call.

Everyone stay tuned.........Dusty's excuse session is coming up shortly. I hope a reporter asks him why he had Taylor in the game to start the 7th.
Click goes and gets him relievers with swing and miss stuff and the stupid SOB won't use them and sticks with what he already had.

Regardless of anything Dusty did or didn’t do, this loss is on the offense. Anytime your pitching staff holds the opposition to 3 or fewer runs and you still lose, it is on the offense.

If the Astros continue to put forth the effort they are now and still find a way to back into the playoffs it is going to be an embarrassment.

You know we're a fortunate fan base when we're annoyed that our team is only 20 games over .500 and 2.5 games in front.

Dusty said "it's my job to put in the guy that I think can do the job" LOL LOL LOL "Benintendi has had success against Graveman and hasn't hit the lefties as well".........I knew this was coming: "We have seen three pitchers we have never seen before. Somebody has been hitting Singer and Lynch, but, both looked like Cy Young against us.

A’s lose. They are also on a 4 game skid.

A’s lose. They are also on a 4 game skid. While both of us are losing, the Mariners are creeping back into it. They are only 5.5 back and will come to Houston very confident.

Winners find a way to win. Losers find a way to lose. It doesn’t matter what the Astros overall record is. Right now they are losers. This is the bitter pill that us fans need to swallow. Since the break, I don’t think the Astros are a .500 team, and that was a long while back.

You know we're a fortunate fan base when we're annoyed that our team is only 20 games over .500 and 2.5 games in front. The 20 games over .500 was a product of the team that won 11 in a row, not this current team, which has been 15-14 since the All Star Break. Maybe they do need Bregman back pretty bad.

You know we're a fortunate fan base when we're annoyed that our team is only 20 games over .500 and 2.5 games in front. Nobody in the fan base is annoyed that the team is 20 games over .500 and 2.5 games in front. What the fan base is annoyed at is the fact that the team is 6-9 since August 1st and 7 of those 9 losses are against sub-.500, bottom feeding teams. Losing teams are running SPs with ERAs of 5.50 to 10.00 out there against the Astros and shutting them down. Losing teams are always going to get up for games against the better teams and challenge them. The Astros have failed to respond to that challenge and beat the sub-.500 teams. Instead they find a way to lose game after game. Winners find a way to win and losers find a way to lose. Right now the Astros are losers.

I just saw the replay of the last out of the game. Chas got totally screwed there. You can’t tag with the glove laces. Chas was safe. I would file a complaint.

He was clearly safe, but, I am always surprised when a reviewed play goes our way. I don't see how they actually watched the replays and didn't reverse the call. Chas was safe.

Failing to respond against these sub-.500 teams shows a lack of leadership from the manager and the veteran players. For the most part, our young guys have responded fairly well while the veterans have gone in the tank. Meyers and McCormick have been out-performing the vets. Somebody needs to grow a pair and say what needs to be said.
