Matheny showed a flaw in it, though, when he sent Taylor on that steal of home. He needs to shorten things up. However, his greatest weakness is the fielding. |

I guess they want more of a long reliever so they sent for Bielak. They can use Javier in long relief, and, should have brought up James. They probably bring up Urquidy as a September callup. |

what do you expect with García and his wind-up anchoring the rotation I don’t mind it as long as he keeps kicking ass. Matheny showed a flaw in it, though, when he sent Taylor on that steal of home. He needs to shorten things up. However, his greatest weakness is the fielding. All of that extra motion in his delivery is fine until runners are on base. The Royals exposed how badly he needs to eliminate that little dance step. I agree that he is a terrible fielder. Maybe Greinke needs to show him how to field his position. |

Roster moves: Brandon Bielak recalled from Sugar Land (AAA). Bryan Abreu optioned to Sugar Land. Taxi Squad for this road trip: Robel García & Josh James. Chas McCormick (hand) will begin a rehab assignment w/ Sugar Land tonight in El Paso. I wish they would just dump Robel Garcia so Dusty could not bring him back. |

Every starter except Maldonado had a OPS north of .800 at the start of this game. There is no reason this team should struggle to score runs.
