I've said this a few times, you remind me of Melvin Udall in As Good As It Gets more than any cinematic character I still don’t know who that is, because I’m culturally ignorant. In my opinion it is a compliment.

I am not really misanthropic…I just don’t like DUMB people like Corch. And I’m a bit impatient. I spent the better part of 35 years as either a cop, prison security, or a nurse…that’ll tend to lower your threshold for mongoloids.

Our Mvp got on base and scored! Thank goodness because the offense found another way to dodge a promising inning.

Oh look, a guy with 37 home runs tried to bunt. I thought that was bad baseball.

I'm not sure who wrote that, but it isn't a good description of the character at all. He is philanthropic, but his use of uncharitable words and phrases makes others think he's insensitive

LOL I have never claimed to be a genius, but, there is one thing of which I'm very confident...there is no way in hell that I am dumber than you. I spent over 30 years in education and coaching which means I probably never encountered many that fall into your category.

Since the ASB, Altuve's OBP is .309. Correa's is .330 and Brantley's is .367. It's reasonable to conclude Dusty should've moved Uncle Mike to leadoff by now, but it's also reasonable to presume he didn't cause he probably thought being Altuve, he would've broken out of his funk by now When he got into his funk by trying to be a dead pull hitter, we can't expect him to get out of it until he stops trying to pull every pitch. He seems incapable of figuring that out on his own. He's figured it out and pulled out of slumps before. The problem is, and I know no one wants to talk about it, the whole team except for Correa looks like it's dragging ass on the diamond right now. Dusty's managed the team so it played its best ball in May and June. Hinch used to give the starters their days off in April when he managed, so they played their best ball in September. That's why AJ was the better manager, even though we had to suffer Jork swinging at pitches that hit him in the leg every spring

I don't think Dusty plans ahead to do much of anything, although he claims to have "scheduled days off" for the players. He has a tendency to rest players who are hitting which I think is the wrong thing to do. Play the guys who are hot......rest the guys who are slumping. AJ was a much better manager than Dusty which is made apparent nearly every day. "Jork" was not a good hitter at any time of the year......He was a great defensive centerfielder.

One thing I fault Dusty with is continuing to rely too much on relievers he had before the new one were added at the deadline. He keeps going to Javier and keeps losing games because of it. They got Maton and Garcia......use them in the 6th and 7th. Use Javier in long relief or when the game has been decided. James looked good at Sugar Land but comes up and looks like the same, wild pitcher he was before his injury. Time to move on from him. Dusty's use of Raley is puzzling. If Raley has a good inning, Dusty seems to think he is the answer whenever needed. He has gotten burned by it more times than not.
