I really like Chas. Have I said that recently? It feels like he does at least one thing good everytime he plays, either on defense or offense.

The geeks and coaching staff might want to consider letting Garcia skip a start. He has already pitched way more innings this year than he ever has before.

No, only the Astros cheat. I thought Manfred knew this. He should stop investigating other teams.

I continue to be amazed at the number of brain farts Dusty keeps coming up with to cost this team games. After Click's new bullpen coughed up the lead, this certified moron pulls Yordan out of the game and inserts Siri. So, in the 10th, we have Siri coming up with two outs instead of Yordan. Then, the idiot uses Diaz to pinch hit for Siri, and, Aledmys K's on three pitches. This was after Jose and Bregman fail to advance Meyers from second base. When we need a runner advanced from second to third, I would rather have anyone on this roster at the plate besides Altuve because he reserves his worst AB's for these situations. All he knows to do is go up there and hack away. Bregman is ZERO for the week.
Now, he brings in Yimi with the bases loaded. LMAO.

Yimi got out of it. Fletcher hits a short fly to right and Chas throws Ohtani out at the plate to send it to the 11th.

Jose advances the runners and gives us the lead.

Jose advances the runners and gives us the lead. Meyers gave us the lead. Jose hit a two run double to add insurance. After three bad AB's in a row, he came through. Then, Bregman added the 4th run of the inning with a sac fly. Chas was the star of this game.

The goat is Phil Maton so far. It's not his fault. Strom hasn't fixed him yet.

Good comeback win. The bullpen looked good outside of Maton. And Maton had been on a real nice run.
Garcia keeps finding ways to limit runs.
Castro looked great today. Altuve and the young OFers come thru late. Yordan doing Yordan things with the bat.

Anyone know what the longest Astros homerun of the season has been? Yordan’s shot last night was 456 if I remember correctly. Probably up there.

What happened with Yordan and Siri last night?

What happened with Yordan and Siri last night? Dusty pulled another lamebrain stunt and removed Yordan in the 8th and replaced him with Siri in LF. There was no sign that anything was wrong with Yordan. You could tell by his expression that he was puzzled by the move as were Blum and Kalas. Pulling your top RBI guy, who was having a good night, in a tie game in the late innings was just plain stupid. But, we have come to expect brainless moves like this from Dusty. As luck had it in extra innings, Yordan's spot in the batting order came so instead of Yordan, Siri was due up. Dusty struck again and sent Diaz up to pinch hit for him and he promptly struck out. So, Dusty pulled Yordan and then used TWO players in his spot....Siri never got to bat and Diaz struck out twice replacing him. Dusty is compiling a list of clueless moves.......Before pulling Yordan in a tie game, his best was arranging his lineup so Maldonado would be the automatic runner in extra innings. LMAO. Dusty's level of stupidity continues to rise.
