Great way for Altuve to top it off......The assholes cheered when he got hit by a pitch. He goes 3-3 with a home run. Brantley recovers to get three hits and drive in runs. Yuli didn't hit it hard but has two hits....Correa got the big clutch double to get us going. We may three MVP's on this team, but, Correa and Tucker are definitely two of them. Altuve tied for 4th all time in post season homers.....One of those he caught is George Springer.
Dusty got away with starting McCullers and pulling him sooner than we thought he should have. He then pissed us all off by bringing in Yimi. I called Dusty every name in the book when he did that. For a change, our pen has been lights out today..
Bring on Cora and the Red Sox.

At some point soon, there needs to be legitimate conversations about Altuve being an all-time great in the postseason.

We have a few of the top postseason hitters of all time, if not in the conversation: Altuve & CC for sure. Bregman and Yuli also show up in the postseason. Tucker will be in the same conversation later in his career in my opinion.

It is going to cost Crane a lot of money to keep them together. It's probably worth it. An extension for Tucker also needs to be discussed. Altuve and Correa are the best SS-2B combo in the game and can be counted on in the post season. |
