And I can't believe I'm saying this, but Dusty pulled all the right strings on a bullpen battle.

Co-MVPs so far= Altuve and Correa I'd dock Altuve some MVP votes for the error that lead to 3 runs in that 3rd inning for the Sox. (Should have been dp) and later didn't deliver with one out and the bases loaded.

And I can't believe I'm saying this, but Dusty pulled all the right strings on a bullpen battle. 16 pitchers in the game, 8 both sides. I don't how this is going to play in a 7 game series, if this is the norm.

5.1 scoreless IP for Yimi, Javier, Maton, Raley, Stanek, and Graveman. Incredible performance.
This was so huge, because tired Luis Garcia vs. Eovaldi is not a great matchup for us. No worse than a split assured though.
Winning today would be huge though. Boston's rotation thins out a lot after Sale and Eovaldi (though Eduardo Rodriguez is better than the ERA would lead you to believe).

Chas hitting over .500 this postseason. Small sample size but still ... I expected him to do reasonably well. Pleasantly surprised that he's been awesome. Go Astros!!! Go Dusty!!! GO CHAS!!!

On our way to Houston to go to the game. Don’t know if my heart can handle another game like yesterday’s.

The pen did great. Maybe Garcia can give us a good 5 or 6 innings today.

Eovaldi is their best starting pitcher, and, I would have liked to see Urquidy matched against him instead of Luis Garcia. We have to hope Luis doesn't repeat what we saw in Chicago. Dusty could be using him here to try to avoid pitching him at Fenway Park. If we can beat Eovaldi or get him out of the game and win it, I think we take the series.

Those of you docking points fail to mention that Altuve also scored or drove in a disproportionate percentage of our runs.

For some reason both fans and haters scrutinize Altuve so much. I say just sit back and enjoy the greatness that is Mighty Mouse.

He occasionally makes mistakes but more than makes up for them.

He occasionally makes mistakes but more than makes up for them. Never have said he wasn't a great ball player. Maybe in the top 3 or 4 in Astros history. As the face of the franchise, he needs to set an example and at least provide near flawless defensive and situational play. Have seen too many boneheaded moves for him not to at least be questioned of his lapses in concentration.
