Boston doesn't have the best pitching, but if Dusty doesn't pull the right strings with our staff, it won't matter. That Boston offense is pumped right now.

Any news on Meyers? Or McMullet? Not much yet but I reckon we'll see more complete news about Meyers first. Apparently McTwitchy wasn't very concerned after the game. I reckon all eyes will be on Meyers and they'll probably have doctors and trainers evaluating him several times in the next few days. JMO. |

As for McCullers, losing him could be a killer blow. Our rotation is deeper than theirs but losing Lance would put more pressure on the others. We would probably need to rely on Greinke to step up at some point. We probably send Framber Valdez to the mound in game one against Eovaldi. Lance would not start until game three anyway. Having him to get ground ball outs at Fenway is what we need to hope for. |

Heard Dusty and Click being interviewed on mlb network awhile ago.......They still don't know the status of McCullers or Meyers at this point. Dusty announced Framber as the game one starter and Luis Garcia to start game two. I wonder if there is a problem with Urquidy since Dusty seems to be reluctant to start him. I would think after what they saw from Luis Garcia in Chicago that Urquidy deserves a chance to get a start.

This is when we need to be concerned about the kid's future with us. Pushing him further could lead to arm problems down the road. Click needs to intervene They don't need to just forget about Greinke. |

They don't need to just forget about Greinke. They are being very quiet about Urquidy. I don't want to have to depend on Odorizzi. Greinke could have shoulder trouble. I'll feel better or much worse when we get an update on Lance's status. |

Last week seriously detracted from the quality of watching the game. Wainright was an idiot too. Who gives a f__ which nachos they eat.

It was probably the right move to keep him off this roster for that purpose. It will be tough, but, we can win this series without him and hope he is available for the WS. |
