The pen did great. Maybe Garcia can give us a good 5 or 6 innings today. I would warm up someone during the bottom of the 2nd. If you get 3 solid innings from him, count it as a moral victory.

I agree. The third has been somewhat an issue even before his innings count went past what good management would allow

For some reason both fans and haters scrutinize Altuve so much. I say just sit back and enjoy the greatness that is Mighty Mouse. It seems like year in and year out I have to defend Altuve.... I'm like YGTBFKM

I'd dock Altuve some MVP votes for the error that lead to 3 some of the runs in that 3rd inning for the Sox. (Should have been dp) and later didn't deliver with one out and the bases loaded. Why are you repeating what the mongo said? Those of you docking points fail to mention that Altuve also scored or drove in a disproportionate percentage of our runs. Could be that he repeated what I said because he agreed with me. LMAO Contrary to what you want to believe, there are some who know the game and agree with me. I mentioned Jose's home run that tied the game more than once as well as the Sac fly that ended up scoring the deciding run. The ones who fail to dock some points due to the error shows that if their favorite player makes an error, it is ignored. An example of total hypocrisy.

For some reason both fans and haters scrutinize Altuve so much. I say just sit back and enjoy the greatness that is Mighty Mouse. I think people are sensitive about Altuve. Pointing out a mistake doesn’t mean burning him at the stake. It’s natural to be annoyed when he made that error because it would’ve ended the inning. A run scored on the play and another on that Renfroe double. The fact that he made up for the two runs is testament to how great he is. Nobody thought it was harsh to point out Biggio getting owned on sliders from righties.

When it's incessantly, to the point that we have to hear it over and over and over, for months and years later..... And it seems like the person gets a hard-on when the next time it happens.... That person is a hater....

It seems like year in and year out I have to defend Altuve.... I'm like YGTBFKM I have always wondered why pointing out the bad as well as the good things a player does makes you a "hater". In my opinion,a good fan does indeed criticize the the bad things a great player does immediately after they happen. But then they leave it in the past. They dwell on the good things the great player does and celebrate those things repeatedly. A hater acknowledges the good things briefly after they happen. But they dwell on the bad events ... incessantly. They take every opportunity in every thread possible to rag on the bad. Perhaps we shouldn't really fault you for your hating. Maybe it's just the way you're wired.

Sherwin even messaged me when it happened.

I want the guy to kick ass, and prove all the haters wrong that we are a W.S. winning team. Yesterday, briefly gave many of us pause.

There is also not a person here who didn't know that I would immediately be blasted for pointing out the error, I seem to remember several others doing likewise, but, I get all of the attention because you have to find something to bitch about when I post. I guess Sherwin messaging you is supposed to be of importance. And we know the forum stalker and dummy will follow me all over the board with cursing, name calling, and juvenile insults. He just can't help himself.

I feel the same way, but, when I mention anything negative about Altuve, it is a sin. When I saw the error, the first thing I remembered was last year's ALCS. But, last year he let the error get in his head. Last night, he responded like a champion, delivered the key home run that tied the game, and the Sac fly that gave us what proved to be the winning run.

You talked forever about Altuve's error, the one that LMJ gave up a HR afterwards..And then you embellished about how egregious the throw was, like it bounced like 7 -10 feet in front of Yuli...look at the link...Altuve's throw was low, it may have just bounced in or just trapped to the ground....Yuli is an excellent 1B, he scoops that ball 9 times out of 10....Plenty of times from Correa... www.mlb.com/news/jose-altuve-makes-costly-error-in-alcs-game-2
