Regarding Garcia's knee injury, it seems he has been having some problems for awhile but never bothered to mention it. I wondered why Urquidy wasn't the game 2 starter since Garcia had looked awful in Chicago. The knee could have been a problem in that game. In an interview about Garcia's knee, Dusty had this to say: “We're not there yet,” Baker said. “It came to our knowledge that this has kind of been bothering him a little bit on and off, but he hadn't said anything about it. It wasn't bothering him enough not to pitch. We'll make that determination in a couple of days.” Which in Dusty-speak means I don't give a f_k, what the trainers and doctors say.....just get on the mound you little f_cka and pitch How do you go immediately from "he didn't tell anyone his knee was sore" to "Dusty doesn't give a f*** what the trainers and doctors say"? Where did you read what the trainers and doctors said? I don't have a problem with not liking Dusty, but lets not make it ridiculous and start making shit up that only exists in your head, Marsh...uh, Catfish.

Perceptions are tough to conquer, no matter how hard you try to defend this dbag. And bad habits even more. BTW... we seem to be seeing quite a bit of pitching injuries and illnesses of late. McCullers, Grienke, Garcia, et. al. So instead of accusing me of making up shit, let the historical plausiblity meter enter into play. Face facts.... Tooth prick Baker can not, and never has been able to manage a pitiching staff properly. History has proven that. No disrespect intended to the honorable moderator.

Did they not see what he did in Chicago? To be fair, Luis at home has been much better than Luis on the road. Not sure what's going on with this knee shit, but I don't think it was crazy to start him here.

McMullet had the same problem before Dusty ever arrived. Greinke is nearly your age. Garcia's knee hurts, which has nothing to do with the manager. I don't care a lick whether Dusty lives or dies, and you can hate him as much as you want, but make sense when you complain about him. You clearly made that shit up out of whole cloth, and you know it.

Hell... even your own News flash for the forum, created by you reads as follows: " Just get on the mound, lil' f***a!" - Dusty Baker. And IMO that was your intentional inference of doing it at any cost. Do you already see that hypocricy? Did you also happen to see OP's op-ed on the matter on the general playoff thead? You can defend this SOB all you want, but the cold hard facts are is that Baker has been a lifelong poor manager of pitching staffs, and beyond his own selfish reason for self actualization, and would cook his own mother's pitching arm off, it meant nabbing a ring. Perceptions and reality? 95% intertwinable, and in this case.... probably closer to 99%. And Bortaz, I am not trying to make this argument personal. I appreciate your moderating (cat herding) this forum.

I think that is probably why he started in game two, but, if he is injured or worn out, he wasn' t going to look good anywhere.

Fact is that Garcia should not have started the game. Did they not see what he did in Chicago? Or the last month of the season? Good point. He has not been good in his last few starts which probably means his knee has been bothering him for some time, he is running on fumes, or a little of both.

Yeah, I think he told that to Joe Kelly that day he gave that little bitch pouty face to Correa.

Yeah, I think he told that to Joe Kelly that day he gave that little bitch pouty face to Correa. Yes, that's correct. Garcia’s issues were predictable and predicted. There were multiple occasions where Garcia could of been rested and should of been rested. Baker kept his head firmly up his ass and did nothing but pencil the young man in. Really the only thing surprising about Garcia’s issues is that Dusty is surprised

Really the only thing surprising about Garcia’s issues is that Dusty is surprised Dusty said Garcia will not be put on IL which shows the damn fool will use him again if given the chance. Dusty needs to be told the kid is going on the IL whether he likes it or not. You don't allow a kid's career to be jeopardized because the manager if a effing idiot.

Maybe they think they can use Garcia out of the bullpen for an inning or two...

Maybe they think they can use Garcia out of the bullpen for an inning or two... If he has a bad knee, he shouldn't be used at all.

Absolutely I am I tried to get into it. I think I watched more of Showtime's reboot from a few years ago than the original series
I'm a fan of how David Lynch depicts the dreamscape on celluloid. Lost Highway is a f***ing masterpiece
