I know past performance not indicative of future results but.....
In the one Evoldi start against us, he went 5.2 innings lost the game, had an era of 7.94 and gave up 7xbh, and walked 3. Only the Tigers hit him harder this year in his one start against them.
This was his first season to exceed a K per inning. I am guessing our fb proficent and contact hitting team might have some additonal success. I also think that his leading MLB in walks per inning works in our favor. as long as we do a decent job of attacking the right pitches.

The key to this game is to find a way to get XBH on this deep outfield. Every batter has to deal with this ‘no doubles’ crap. They need to victimize the poor routes Hernandez takes. |

Im with Sherwin. If Garcia gets us 2-3 innings, warm up Greinke or Odorizzi for the next couple of innings.

They can still take this series. But if they manage to somehow make it to the WS and Lance can't pitch? I don't think they have enough left to beat the Dodgers.

He never has known how to take care of young pitchers. He has been running on fumes for awhile now. I wish I knew the reasoning behind not starting Urquidy. |
