Would you consider benching "Breggie" and starting Diaz? Diaz could do no worse. I would consider it if Bregman has a sore ankle for sure. He got on 2 times, just can't hit for shit. I'd give Diaz a try. I see Maldonado is still in tonight's lineup, which is no surprise, but, he is hitting in the nine spot with Greinke hitting 8th.

Tonight is a must win in my book. Lets go Stros! Do it for Dusty, do it for US! Would you consider benching "Breggie" and starting Diaz? Diaz could do no worse. Diaz makes Bregman look like Ty Cobb.

Looking at tonight's Lineup tells me why Dusty hasn't won a WS and there is a good chance he never will. As he has no flexibility in how he makes his lineups. If the Astros go on and win the WS this year it will be in spite of Dusty. Yes, he has been great with the Pitching as the Pitching actually has stepped up from the Regular season. It's a complete turnaround so maybe they have been boosting his decisions.

What I don’t get about Dusty’s detractors is that the main complaint against him is in leaving pitchers in too long. He has pulled a 180 on that, but it still isn’t enough.
It’s not his fault Altuve wanted to pop up on a pitch headed for his shin or that Yordan wanted to pop it up on the first pitch from a pitcher he’s never faced. He never asked Bregman and Correa to disappear on offense.
All he can do is put the best hitters out there and to know when to change pitchers, and he’s done a great job.

He has made the right moves with the pitching. 2. He refuses to pull Maldonado and put Castro in the lineup even though Maldonado is an automatic out. 3. He refuses to move Bregman down in the lineup although he has done nothing to deserve being in the three spot. 4. He knows Altuve will swing at anything thrown up there so he has to accept it if he plays him because Jose doesn't know how to make adjustments. 5. Yordan thought he needed to hit a home run since nobody else was hitting. Jose also swings at any pitch from a pitcher he's never faced. 6. Bregman never showed up so he couldn't disappear. 7. Correa hasn't shown up and should avoide tapping his wrist if he ever does decide to show.

After a game or two of employing adjustments, he is right back to swinging at any pitch thrown within a foot of the strike zone in any direction, lunging at the ball and attempting to pull everything. For the life of me I can’t understand why any pitcher would ever throw him a pitch in the strike zone.

LOL The other night, the Fox TV crew said Jose had spent his time in BP hitting everything up the middle or to right field. I started laughing because I knew that as soon as the game started he'd go right back to swinging at everything and trying to pull with each swing. A smart pitcher would never throw him a hittable pitch.

The lineup order and Dusty aren't the problem.
It doesn't matter what order they're in if none of them are going to hit.

I hate to give the Braves credit for how good their pitching is cause I can't stand them. If we can find a way to win three of the next four it'd be the greatest miracle ever

Can someone explain to me what happened to Bregman to make him look as bad as Malanado at the plate?

TBH that did not look like max-effort running from Correa.
EDIT: max-effort halfway then broke it down while assuming the out. Not in the World Series, please.
