I would stick with the same lineup for game 6 and 7. Since games 6 and 7 will be in an AL park, there won't be a pitcher batting. That means we'll see Brantley in left, Tucker in right, and a regular CF ... either Chas or Siri. Will we see Yordan as DH? Probably. Even though he's been cold at the plate, you keep your fingers crossed he puts it together in the next couple of games and don't need to be concerned with his defense. Batting order? Your guess is as good as mine.

It will be good to be able to put our best defensive OF out there. Yordan did us no favors in LF and he is lost at the plate. He needs a shot of confidence before game 6. I'd go with Siri in CF. He's seen Fried before and Chas has looked awful. I don't know, Chas is hitting .261 with a .333 OBP in the postseason, while Siri is hitting .167 with a .167 OBP (and one of those was hits a perfectly placed that didn't make it out of the infield grass. It probably doesn't matter a ton either way, but I'd prefer Chas. Your boy Chas been whiffing with those Beltre cuts.

Two big takeaways for me, from last night:
1 - Zack was money at the plate. Too bad the Astros couldn't cash in on his success but shit happens.
2 - Maldonado once again presented a one-fingered salute to his detractors! A hit, a walk, and a sac fly. THREE RBI.
Go Martín! Go Dusty! GO ASTROS!!!

Put Chas...or Siri...9th and leave the rest as is. Although, for better offense, they could leave Tucker in CF and put Diaz in LF.

Honestly, I don't think it matters that much. Bregman needed moved out of the middle of the guys that have been doing stuff this postseason, but I don't think it's a major deal. So many have been cold (or at least cool) for this series.

The thing to me with Altuve at leadoff is that, while he hasn't had a great series, he has been such a potential big swing to start the game that I like him at leadoff (and he is running well). Yeah, I don't like that he is trying to pull everything (although he had a nice base hit going with the pitch last night), but you just get the feeling every AB that he could do something big. Considering he got robbed twice in Game 4 and had a 100mph reach on error last night, his overall series is actually pretty damn good. If even just one or two of those are hits, he's hitting .250+ with a .900+ OPS. And that flyout that he got robbed on Game 3 would have been his 6th HR of the postseason if we'd have been at MMP. I think Bregman is good at 7 for now. Takes the pressure off.

Too many times he makes an out on the first pitch or gets behind in the count. At least the hits he has gotten have been productive most of the time.

I like Altuve, but I don’t know why any pitcher would throw him a pitch in the strike zone with less than a 3 ball count on him. He is going to swing at everything you throw up there and if it is in the strike zone, he is likely to hammer it.

Because he is a .400+ hitter with a 1.000+ OPS on 1-0 and 2-0 counts, and a .371 hitter on 0-0. I'm sure the thinking is that they like their chances better hoping to beat him on a first pitch strike than falling behind and then having the equivalent of Ted Williams if he takes a ball.

I’m sure that the number of times Altuve has had a 1-0 or 2-0 count is an extremely small sample size. Not even enough to justify mentioning. Hard to have a 1-0 or 2-0 count when you swing at the first pitch every at-bat.

Let me get this straight. I hope I'm wrong, but, are you seriously comparing Altuve to Ted Williams? Williams knew the strike zone and seldom chased a pitch. Jose will swing at anything he can reach. It is Kyle Tucker who has his swing compared to Ted Williams. I think of Jesus Alou watching Altuve swing.

It's almost like he needed the regular season to figure out which pitchers to use in certain situations. He has pushed the right buttons the majority of the time in the post season. I give him credit for finally deciding to move Bregman out of the three spot, putting him 7th, and moving Yuli to 5th. Correa and Yuli each had three hits after Dusty made the lineup changes. I give him credit for that.
