It will take some strong mojo to wake up these dead bats.  I feel sorry for our pitchers. They have done a great job and have been left out to dry by the so-called "best offense in baseball". The Braves used two AAA pitchers the first five innings and we didn't do squat.

This team has gone through incredibly frustrating periods this year where our offense just quit showing up.  We beat the good teams and lost to the bad during theses stretches. Tonight it would not surprise me if we won 10-0. It would also not be surprising if we got no hit and got tormented off the field. Which team shows up, he’ll who knows,let’s just wait and see.

Could be, but this was the first 2 game stretch in the post season where situational hitting (0-9 RISP last night no less)  was this dismal.  I just don't see this team having a 3 game winning streak in them right now.

I just hope Dusty realizes that he can't manage tonight's game as it were in the regular season. He has done a great job with his pitching moves. During the regular season, you have the luxury of staying with a set lineup or a certain player to give time for it to work out. You have no such luxury in the WS. The game tonight is an elimination game so going with the same lineup that has produce only THREE run total in the last two games makes no sense. Bregman is totally useless right now and should be replaced in the lineup. Diaz can do no worse. If he won't remove him from the lineup, Dusty should at least move him down in the batting order. Sadly, I think nothing will change and Bregman will remain in the lineup in the three spot and continue doing what he has done so far........nothing. We continue to hit two of our top hitters 6th and 7th instead of up in the order where they belong. Kyle Tucker should be in the three spot, Yuli hitting 5th, with Bregman, Diaz and Correa behind them. Now, with Castro unavailable because of COVID, we must play Maldonado.

We have to hope for a strong six innings from Valdez and that somebody can get a big hit when we need it. Altuve came through last night with two hits, including a big home run. He as robbed of a double that would have produced at least one run and then robbed again by Rosarios catch at the wall. Bottom line is we have to hit or start the off season. I think if we get this thing back to Houston we can win it.

All Dusty did with the lineup was move Bregman to 7th and put Correa in the three spot. So, he did nothing to improve things. LOL Tucker or Yuli should hit third. I'd have put Bregman's ass on the bench.

Dusty doesn’t want to screw with his only World Series power hitter in the lineup. This lineup already is much better because Tucker moved up and Bregman moved down to a spot in the order where they don’t need him to drive in runs as much. How is this not encouraging?

Let's see....   We got some serious shit going on here... Like I said Yuri's still getting hate mail from the Asian American Community, Yordan's former agent put a hex on his bat,  and he needs a bucket of chicken fingers from Cane's to ward off the spell.  Alex's shrink just diagnosed him with PTSD from visuals of  baseballs that are strarting to look like BB's at the plate.  Jose's wife just called him small last night, and he's not sure of the context, and Carlos...  he still can't get his watch fixed. It is an improvement. The only thing that could be better is having Bregman on the bench.  This series is a good example of why we should have taught Yordan to play first base.  We could have played him there, moved Yuli to third base, sat Bregman, and put Chas or Siri in CF.

One thing to keep an eye on is Astro HRs. Houston averaged about 1.5/game in the regular season. They've hit two (both by Altuve) in 4 games. They should have about 6 by now. According to my math, the Astros are owed 8-9 HR over the next 3 games if they can stretch it that far.
