I am pretty sure things will even out as the season goes along. Getting Meyers back may help but getting Gurriel and a couple others up to par would do a lot more.

Last year's WS hitting was a joke .. Except for Altuve. 9 Ks to 6 Hits in 6 games wasn't his best showing. The 2HRs were nice though. Interestingly, his career postseason line is almost identical to his current 2022 line.

I mean, name another player who homered. You can’t. No one else did. The only other offensive player who showed up was Gurriel, and that was only in the wins.

How was catcher not an option? I would prefer to trust that Yuli will figure it out and become the productive 300 hitter/100 RBI guy this season. It makes more sense to me to upgrade at catcher, another outfield bat, or a bench bat over first base.

On one hand, Yuli is hitting better than Maldonado. On the other hand, more offense is expected from a 1B.
I don't care about a closer. But another good reliever would be nice.

Tony Rizzo 2-run single in the bottom half of the 8th inning. Yanks 2, Angels 1.

Yankees sweep the double-header. 8 game losing streak for the Angels and a 6.5 game lead in the ALW for the Astros.

The Yankees can help us coast into the postseason all year as far as I'm concerned. As long as we keep eliminating them in October!

I think Austine Romine should be worth a look and still Josh Bell 1B Nationals.

I think Austine Romine should be worth a look and still Josh Bell 1B Nationals. The problem is with Bell, you’ll be trading for a pending free agent. Do you think Click will compete with 29 other teams?

Do you think Click will compete with 29 other teams? Why you hate Click? He's made plenty of deals. It's not his fault that our vaunted offense decided to stop hitting in the WS last year.

Do you think Click will compete with 29 other teams? Brantley and Yuli were both do for some regression...I do believe Yuli will rebound and start producing consistently... Regardless, Click should be upgrading the overall offense ... Obvious target is Catcher....After that a solid bat that can be a spot starter and top PH is needed....Then it is a veteran reliever great against LH batters ...
